La raison est qu’à côté de ce blog, je suis rédacteur bénévole pour un webzine, j’ai nommé “Le Mag’zine“. La particularité de ce webzine est qu’il alterne entre un numéro dédié spécialement à la culture tandis que le suivant est consacré aux jeux vidéo.
Actuellement, l’édition jeux vidéo traite plus particulièrement des jeux d’Ankama Games et de quelques MMORPG mais l’équipe réfléchit à une possible modification de l’orientation de cette version, en pensant à élargir son domaine d’expertise et aborder d’autres horizons vidéo-ludiques. Pour ce premier numéro dédié à la culture du Mag’zine, j’ai décidé de vous parler du fameux Seinen de Toru Fujisawa, j’ai nommé la sympathique série : Rose Hip Rose. Composée de quatre volumes, cette série raconte l’histoire d’une jeune et fort jolie femme amnésique, qui au fur et à mesure des événements se produisant, va se retrouver plonger dans son passé et devra faire face à la personne qu’elle a été avant la perte de sa mémoire.
Cette série, forte de ses fusillades et de ses effusions de sang, a été interdite à la vente aux mineurs au Japon ; Et devant le peu de succès que la série a connu auprès de son public originel, l’auteur a du se voir obligé d’écourter la parution et du même coup son scénario.
En France, c’est Pika Edition qui s’est chargé d’éditer les quatre volumes que comporte la série. Bon à savoir : Malgré le peu de reconnaissance donnée à Rose Hip Rose, l’auteur a eu la possibilité de développer et faire éditer une histoire parallèle à son histoire originale, nommée Rose Hip Zero, dont un article complet a été rédigé dans ce magazine. Mais ne filez pas tout de suite, vous avez encore à me lire !
Avant d’entrer dans le vif de ce fabuleux manga, permettez-moi de vous en apprendre plus sur son auteur. Comme mentionné plus haut, Toru Fujisawa est l’auteur de cette courte mais pas moins admirable série. Ce nom ne vous dit peut-être rien, et les Japonais ne sont pas réellement subjugué par le travail qu’il a fourni sur cette oeuvre, mais sachez que ce cher monsieur est à l’origine de la série au succès incontestable « Great Teacher Onizuka » plus célèbrement connue sous le nom de « GTO » qui a véritablement fait un carton auprès des lecteurs européens et japonais. Malgré cette renommée, Toru Fujisawa n’a pas su raviver la flamme des lecteurs japonais avec sa série Rose Hip Rose et a du freiner son imagination, malgré le soutien des fans européens.
Mais « Rose Hip Rose » (Maintenant, nous allons l’appeler « RHR »), ça parle de quoi au juste ? Nous suivons donc la vie d’un certain Shohei, jeune étudiant aux résultats scolaires pas forcément brillants et qui, au premier abord, mène un train de vie tout ce qu’il y a de plus banal. Nous découvrons cet acteur dans un train, en train de prendre en photo les dessous de jupes de fille. Son rôle jusqu’à maintenant, était de mettre en ligne ces dites photos sur un site géré en temps réel, afin d’attirer les nombreux abonnés dans le train où se situait la jeune fille victime de l’appareil voyeur de notre acteur principal.
Après un cliché réussi, Shohei repère une jeune femme d’apparence fort agréable et décide d’en faire sa prochaine victime. Après une approche discrète et l’arme de son méfait prête à être utilisée, notre étudiant s’en va actionner son appareil au moment où la jeune fille attrape son bras. Fort étonné, la jeune fille en question lui dévoile comment elle l’observe depuis le début et pourrait témoigner de ses actions illégales devant les autorités de contrôle ferroviaire. Tenant le portable de Shohei entre ses mains, notre jolie inconnue s’empare ensuite de sa carte mémoire. S’ensuit une course poursuite entre lui et la belle inconnue, après quelques mètres, Shohei se met à admirer la grâce de mouvement, les cascades et les risques que prend sa fugitive pour s’échapper. C’est donc malgré lui qu’il est forcé d’abandonner la poursuite, sa carte mémoire entre les mains d’une inconnue.
C’est donc sur les chapeaux de roue que démarre notre histoire. Comme vous pouvez vous en douter, le destin de nos deux énergumènes présentés juste avant est étroitement lié et c’est bien autour de ces deux personnages que l’intrigue gravitera tout au long de la série. Fort haletant, à l’action toujours présente et au scénario bourré de rebondissements, RHR est une petite bombe qui pour quatre volumes, n’a aucune excuse pour ne pas faire parti de votre mangathèque. Pour ma part, ces quatre volumes m’ont transporté le temps d’une nuit (L’addiction à une série vient dès le premier volume, celui-la m’a empêché de m’arrêter pour reprendre la lecture à un autre moment.), le temps de comprendre leur passé, leur destin, leurs sentiments et leurs malheurs.
Pour conclure, si vous êtes à la recherche d’un manga peu onéreux, aux couvertures sexys, au character-design d’un charme évident et aux personnages enchanteurs, foncez, mais foncez vraiment, vous n’en serez pas déçus.
