Et oui, j’ai enfin pu voir Star Wars 7 Le Réveil de la Force au cinéma. Avant d’aller plus loin et pour éviter toute mésaventure pour vous, lecteurs, je vous invite à ne pas lire cet article si vous n’avez toujours pas eu l’occasion de voir ce film. J’ai peur de révéler des éléments importants de l’intrigue ou de donner des indices dans cet article en vous livrant mes impressions. Du coup dans le doute, j’annonce que cet article n’est pas spoiler-free. Après relecture, c’est même pas du tout spoiler-free.
Bien, si vous êtes encore la, c’est que vous êtes du genre téméraire, ou que vous avez déjà vu le film. Bon, pour ma part, j’ai trouvé que c’était de la frappe atomique. J’ai bien noté quelques défauts mais ils sont balayés par le reste de la production.
Pour commencer, j’ai (malheureusement) été contraint de voir le film en 3D version française. Et pour cause, sur les 27 séances réparties sur trois jours du cinéma de Chambéry, aucune de ces punaises de vingt-sept séances n’était ni en VO, ni en 2D. Alors je sais pas pourquoi on en est la. Autant la 3D est quelque chose que je peux supporter mais j’aurai vraiment aimé avoir la possibilité de visionner ce métrage dans sa version originale.

Toutefois, ayant grandi en ayant vu les premiers épisodes de la saga en français avant leur version originale, je n’ai pas spécialement été choqué à l’écoute. Ca ne va pas m’empêcher de choper une salle dans les trois prochaines semaines où le film est diffusé en version originale mais cette version française reste bonne à mon humble avis.
Revenons sur la 3D. Sans vouloir faire mon rabat-joie face à cette technologie, j’ai surtout toujours eu du mal avec ça pour le fait de devoir porter des lunettes pendant 2h30 sur le nez. Déjà je suis pas à l’aise avec des lunettes sur le pif, mais en plus par chez moi, il faut rajouter 2€ au prix d’une séance classique et encore 1€ si on a eu l’esprit assez contrarié en sortant de chez soi pour oublier celles qu’on a déjà acheté à une séance précédente.
Bref, je vois surtout la 3D comme un élément marketing qui sert à faire rentrer du blé sans particulièrement ajouter de valeur au métrage. Dans le cas d’Avatar, c’était très cool y’a pas à dire, mais c’était surtout le côté nouveauté qui a joué en la faveur de la technologie. Depuis ce film et jusqu’à Star Wars, j’ai trouvé que la somme des désavantages de cette technologie ne faisait pas le poids face aux quelques avantages que le port de ces lunettes apportait. Mais c’était jusqu’à Star Wars.
Un film avec des scènes de bataille spatiale, des vaisseaux qui surgissent de tout les côtés, qu’on voit s’éloigner, se rapprocher, tourbillonner, exploser, ça c’était impressionnant à l’écran, et ça c’était cool à voir à travers ces lunettes de merde. Oui, au final j’ai kiffé la 3D de cette épisode parce qu’elle servait l’immersion du film de manière prodigieuse.
Mais la 3D n’est pas le seul facteur immersif du film. En effet et à mon sens, le design sonore réalisé tout au court de ce métrage est d’une finition exceptionnelle. Les sons de blasters, les explosions, les propulseurs de vaisseaux, tout ces bruitages participent brillamment à l’immersion du spectateur. C’était franchement génial et je n’ose imaginer la qualité des cinémas équipés des derniers systèmes sonores IMAX ou je n’sais pas trop quoi.
Je pourrais vous parler pendant des heures d’à quel point j’ai trouvé que ce film était réussi techniquement, de toutes les scènes qui m’ont fait briller la rétine devant tant d’effets spéciaux trop cool et tout mais j’aimerais que cet article ne finisse pas à plus de 1500 mots et que je puisse en placer deux ou trois à propos du scénario.

J’ai eu la chance et la volonté de me tenir écarté de tout spoiler vis à vis du film. Mais plus que ça, j’ai aussi tout fait pour ne voir ni le premier trailer ni le second. Pour vous dire vrai, la seule et unique image que j’avais vu du film en dehors de son affiche était une des premières qui avait leaké avec un X-Wing sur la planète Jakku si je ne me trompe pas. En dehors de ça, je n’avais aucune idée du casting, qui était derrière la caméra, du synopsis, rien, que dalle, nada, niet.
Je ne pourrais pas citer toutes les scènes qui ont suscité ce petit pincement de coeur pendant le déroulement du film, ces scènes qui te font ouvrir la bouche en demi sans que tu t’en rendes compte, ces scènes qui te rendent heureux putain.
Quand Rey et Finn cherchent un moyen de s’échapper de Jakku, que le vaisseau qu’ils comptaient utiliser explose et que le “tas de ferraille qui fera l’affaire” s’avère être le putain de Faucon Millenium apparaît, c’était juste un moment ultra cool. Quand Han Solo passe la tête à travers l’entrée du vaisseau cité j’étais la “MAIS OMG, ils ont pu le récupérer ♥ !”. Oui, je n’avais vraiment aucune idée du casting, alors voir Harrison Ford apparaître à l’écran c’était vachement cool. Et cet ascenseur émotionnel d’enflure. La joie qui a remplit mon petit coeur à la vue d’Han Solo a été aussi immense que ma peine quand Kylo Ren/Ben Solo s’est débarrassé de lui sur cette plateforme… C’était triste.
Et ce Mark Hamill de fin, dans sa robe blanche poussiéreuse qui se retourne vers Rey à la fin, ce combat ultra cool dans la forêt entre Rey et Ren.
Malgré toutes ces qualités, j’ai quand même eu un peu de mal avec l’humour dans le film. J’ai bien compris que ça faisait parti du personnage mais bon. Quand Kylo Ren entre dans la salle où Po est retenu captif et que ce dernier répond “Pas terrible” à la question “Bien installé ?” de Kylo Ren, je m’attendais presque à entendre un rajout sonore dans le film avec des applaudissements et des rires de foule. C’était nul et il y a eu deux trois autres blagues qui sont mal passées à mon goût. Mais comme je le disais au début de cet article, ce défaut n’a pas entaché l’expérience globale que j’ai vécu aujourd’hui en salle.
Alors oui, l’univers de Star Wars m’avait manqué. Je ne me suis jamais intéressé aux livres qui poussent plus loin dans l’univers et en dehors des Star Wars sur Gamecube je n’ai jamais joué à d’autres jeux de la licence. Mais retrouver ces bruitages, ces combats de sabres lasers, ces blasters, ces batailles spatiales m’a redonné une envie monstre d’approfondir mes connaissances qui se limitent uniquement aux sept films.
Du coup, inutile de vous répéter que j’ai adoré ce film. J’ai ADORÉ ce film. Ca faisait une éternité que je n’étais pas sorti aussi heureux d’une salle de cinéma. C’est peut-être dû au manque de renouvellement des programmations dans mon département, mais les seuls bons films que je vois sont ceux que l’on me conseille en DVD.
Enfin bref, Star Wars 7 c’était de la frappe atomique. Je ne peux que le conseiller aux personnes un peu intéressées par la saga. Pour les autres, je ne peux que vous conseiller de regarder les six premiers avant que le septième disparaisse des salles. Les versions Bluray 1080p sont vraiment excellentes. On est bien loin de mes cassettes enregistrées quand le film passait sur TF1 le Dimanche soir.
Du coup voilà, c’était ce que j’ai pensé du film Star Wars 7 Le Réveil de la Force. J’ai rarement (jamais ?) parlé de film sur mon blog mais je devais écrire un article aujourd’hui je voulais absolument vous en parler.
